Reverse logistics
All activities involving the reuse of goods and materials are referred to as reverse logistics. It is defined as "the process of planning, implementing, and controlling the reliable, cost-effective flow of raw materials, in-process inventory, finished products, and related information from the point of consumption to the point of origin for the purpose of recapturing value or proper disposal from the point of consumption to the point of origin."
